Transmission is importrant to me and has nourished my practice. I have focused alot on teaching observational drawing and experimental drawing but I have also taught painting and art history in several 3rd level institutions in France for more than fifteen years including the American University of Paris. As an elemental response to what we see, drawing also provides a broad platform for discussion on all aspects of a subject from the practical to the historical, to the environmental, to the philosophical. As such it is adaptable to all ages and contexts and I have gained much from teaching to both children, 3rd-level students and adults.
